Stub tuners are impedance transformers designed to introduce a variable shunt susceptance into a coaxial transmission line. Maury offers a comprehensive line of broadband stub tuners designed to satisfy the majority of applications whether its to maximize power transfer between a generator and a load or for introducing a mismatch into an otherwise matched system. Spacing between the stubs of multiple-stub tuners will determine its range of impedances that can be matched and the ease of tuning.
Features and Benefits
- Variable shunt method for impedance tuning
- Broadband application
- Moveable over ½ wavelength at lowest frequency of operation
- Great for power and attenuation measurements
- Great for tuned reflectometer systems and providing a DC return for single-ended mixers and detectors.
